You Can Either Complain Roses Have Thorns, or Thank God that Thorns have Roses.

This first part will sounds a little demanding, but I beg, don't take it that way.... but in the package you guys are going to send out could you possibly, if money permits, peanut butter, war heads (was in the halloween candy package from Mike and sparked some interest to have more (;  ) Cheese-its, those mashed potatos you sent the last time, and that is it..... hopefully it didn't sound too demanding!  

Another thing, I lied about the Berretts..... you have better connections than I do..... I was under the impression they just moved branches.  NOT. They're somewhere else now.  So forgive me for my imperfections (;  I also received a package from Debbie Rushton!  If you could tell her thank you for me that'd be great!   This last week I was thinking about Trenton and wondering what he's been up to.  Do you know anything about that? I'll try to find his email on here and write him, but if you know what he's up to?

Last weeks email:

Mom I'll definitely take you up on the food you're eating.  Give me all the lettuce/cabbage you can find!!  I NEED some healthy food in my stomach.  Everyday its oil, oil, oil, then sometimes you get Red oil in there.  Too much oil......   I just want to clarify, that I DID NOT forget about my own mothers birthday and I even shouted Happy Birthday to you from my apartment!  You couldn't hear it, but its the thought that counts(; And be sure to take more pictures when you guys do things!!  Your memory only does so much, but when you take a photo, its much better!  Ill be doing that a lot more when I get home. 
I cant believe hunting is coming around again.... even spring time!! Where did Winter Go?!?!  I remember the first time you guys said it snowed!!  Seems like it was yesterday.  Time real goes quick.  Our transfer is almost up to.  Next week we'll be getting transfer news again and most likely this time, me and Elder Humpherys will be splitting up.  If we don't...... That would be a surprise for everyone. He will have been in the area for 5 transfers and that would put me at 4.  Right now I'm at 3 in the area and he's at 4.  So, we'll see what happens in two P-Days....

This week nothing happened.... literally.  Me and Elder Humpherys stayed in the whole week.  Our apartment kept giving us problems and you can't rely on any Liberian to come when he says he's coming. So when they said they'd be back in an hour, it wasn't until the evening time.  And at that, he didn't even do the job correctly.  This week we had to have our pump for our water fixed 3 times since it kept breaking, our Door that the guy didn't put together right the first time, and then our kitchen sink. No really cool stories this week....  Some good studying though!!

When you read the Book of Mormon, you come to find out that life can be simple.  If you obey the commandments, you will prosper.  Simple.  Don't make life harder than it needs to be.  Obey the commandments and you will be okay.  I also was studying about pride this week.  EVERYONE has it.  If you want to know how to overcome it, or to see if you have it, read President Ezra Taft Bensons talk from 1989 and President Uchtdorfs from 2010 on pride.  Opens your eyes for sure.  After reading it, I found out how prideful I really was.  I'm working on overcoming now.  President Uchtdorf said very few overcome it.  I want to be that few (;
