Another Robbery

Hello from LIB!!!!

In mission terms, I have crossed the veil.  I have less time now. AHH!  crazy... Happy Birthday Kendra!!!!!! and Happy Birthday Brook!!!  Hope you enjoy it and take lots of photos! About the whole robbery thing..... sorry, yeah? I realized I forgot to mention it as we were walking away from the Internet place... but gives you something to look forward to right? ha  The pictures are sweet.  Tell Grandpa happy birthday! When I first saw the pic, I thought it was his obituary.  made my heart stop until the picture cleared up and wasn't blurry anymore. You got me there!  I'll take small time to respond to last weeks email because we're going in town to Monrovia to celebrate our one year, by eating pizza and Ice cream.  Not much celebration for you back home, but when you haven't had it for a year, its quite exciting! 

I did get the package thank you!  I enjoyed the "3" hi- chews you managed to put in there. At first I was thinking the bag just was opened... nope.  only 3.   haha the sandals got here, and they're just slightly too big.  It'll still work though!  I loved your miracle about the lady at your work.  Gods always looking out for us.  And we need to listen to those thoughts that come into our head like you did.  Its a good thing you did. It could have gone worse.  (thats for candice fyi)  I want to see some photos of all these changes you've done to the house!  With the package though....

I was laughing my head off with your faces on those camels... priceless!  All the snacks are the correct ones!  They're all gone though.... I shared with my apartment so we enjoyed together, especially the Africans.  They loved all the American sweets.  With the slim and sassy thing... how does it actually work.  and what am I suppose to do with it.  How are Dan and Rebecca doing by the way? When do they come home?  And don't worry about sending letters all the time.  Its easy to email.  Writing back can be difficult because we don't always have enough time in the day to write letters. So its alright if you can't send them.  It is nice to get some every once in awhile(;

Interesting thing about my companion, he likes to scream at night.  With all these  thieves and what not happening at the apartment, you can imagine how it is to wake up to your African companion screaming at 3am.  I'Il share small about the other day.  We were both completely out.  One of the best sleeps I've had in this apartment, when I hear,"HEY! HEY! HEY!" First reaction, look out the window.  I'm surprised I didn't get light headed with how fast I sat up.  I got out of my net, checked the deck through the window, then asked my companion if every thing is alright.  He said yes, then tried to explain to me what he was attempting to say.  Nothing but mumbles came out.  Well, good opportunity for me to use the bathroom.   He always claims that when he talks in his sleep, he knows.  So whenever I tell him he was screaming at night, he denies it. haha this is one of the many things I deal with at night.  Oh mission....

And about the Robbery, it started out with us asleep at night again.  Fyi, I think he took my black gym shorts.....  Back to the story, asleep in our beds, when my companion this time yells, "L! E! L! E!"  Don't ask me what it means....  my eyes shot open and that's when I saw a shadow on the wall go past. I look out the window and he was gone.  I checked everything out on the deck and nothing was missing.  But, like I said, i think he took my gym shorts ( they take the weird things)  Anyway, I spoke to my companion about it in the morning and he said that he saw a shadow.  It was the same one I saw.  But when he saw the shadow, the only thing he could say was, "L! E!" out of all the words you could think of to shout at a thief, you choose to say that....    hey, at least he ran away right? That was the end of our thieves for now.  They seem to be coming to our apartment more often now... everything is always put inside. 

This last Wednesday, we had mission council.  After mission council, we had to print photos from Elder Humpherys camera for our Recent converts we had together.  (running out of time) so in short, we had a little reunion by buying pizza and Ice cream together.  We enjoyed!  I wish I could tell you more about it, but just know that we had a good time!  I hope you have a great birthday and great week!!!  Love you all!  Keep working hard and study your scriptures!  Such a missionary thing to say.....
