The Thief Strikes Again!

Hello Everyone!

The photos of the big bowl is rice with a sauce called red oil potato greens.  Tastes A LOT better than it looks.  I know you would all like it if you tried it.  It's just the look that throws it off...

There is also another photo of a bunch of bags hanging in the middle of the room.  That is how we keep our bread away from the mice and bugs.

Things from last email, our thief friend hit us again.... This time, he opened our window that was locked.   Don't ask me how he managed that.  But what he did, was he used a stick and pulled my companions wallet  to the window (Its a 8-6 foot reach from the desk to the window.) He pulled everything out of his wallet, looked through it, took 100 LD which is like 1.40 in US, then put everything back into his wallet and threw it on the chair.  Didn't bother taking his camera or anything.  See how he's a nice guy? :) We did find where he was coming up at.  It is a pole thats in our back that we never had seen before.  Its for a dish or something. So we'll talk with the owner of the building to see if we can get it moved.  All those nights when I heard the ting sound going on, was the thief climbing the pole and it smacking the concrete everytime he moved.  We now know the noise, so we'll be ready for him the next time!

You asked about how many converts I have had.  I have 35 converts who have baptized to date.

Not much this week, only that we had some sweet baptisms on Saturday!  S.B. and V. both got baptized.  They are sweet converts!  They both have powerful testimonies and are fully involved in the branch already.  At the Baptismal service, S. bore his testimony and it blew everyone away.  You can tell he's converted.  He told about how he used to do all those bad things like alcohol and drinking coffee and smoking, but he has stopped it all.  When we first told him not to drink alcohol, it was just a brief  answer because we weren't speaking on the Word of Wisdom.  It was a question that he had.  When we told him it was bad and he shouldn't do it, he stopped.  From that day to now, he hasn't had one sip of Alcohol.  This guy is ready to do Gods will.  This was one of the reasons why I was excited to stay in Doe Community is I'd be here for his baptism.  Even his wife is being taught now and hopefully makes her baptism in April.  She had lots of concerns about the priesthood and the Book of Mormon, but after we went through both of them, she was thankful.  All her concerns were gone and she understands.  I'm praying that she will fully accept the gospel and be baptized.  I'll keep you updated on that.
I don't have much this week, but I'll try to send more photos now.  Love you and hope you have a great week!!!
Love Elder Zaugg
sooo..... can't send any photos this week for some reason.  My computers not registering my sd card. I'll try next week to upload the baptism photos!  S. has some awesome dread locks (:
