District Conference

Ching chong ching!
Figured I'd greet you like all the Liberian kids greet me.  Change things up ya know?(;    This week will be short again too. I want to try and download pictures.

I'm taking that rat trap idea into consideration....  And its hard to believe you're about to plant crops again.  Time really slips away.  I remember when you guys were talking about the first snow storm and even the huge pumpkins.  Seems like it wasn't long ago at all!  So much happens in a short period of time it seems like.  I honestly can't believe I'm on the down hill side to my mission now.  Its sad to think my times running out to be here. As much as these people will annoy me or aggravate me, I have grown to love them.  Really though, its crazy how much a mission can do for a person in such a short period of time.  It turns someone 180 degrees and puts them on the right path.  I don't have a picture of the baby thats named after me because it was someone in Banjor, but maybe I'll be able to swing by their place one of these pdays and get a photo of him.

Just yesterday we had our District conference again.  This is making it my 3rd that I've had on mission.  You only have 4 your entire mission.  It's really hitting me that I'm over one year now.  Even I realized my 3rd general conference is coming up.  This is just one of those depressing emails where I feel like I have no time left.......  But District Conference went well.  I wish I could say the talks were good, but we were trying to quiet down all the children and Adults in the hall ways.  You couldn't hear a thing with everyone talking.  The Building we meet in doesn't even have enough chairs for everyone to see the speakers.  you'll have chairs in the hall ways and people standing trying to listen.  Thats one of the problems that add to why there is so much noise.  If the building was bigger to where everyone could see, no one would get bored and want to walk around.  Like I said, we weren't able to listen to the talks that much, but we had 943 people attend.  Its a drop from the last two conferences where we had over 1200 show up, but its still a big number.  I was able to see all my Recent converts and old members from all the branches so it was fun.
This picture was taken from berrettsinliberia.blogspot.com.  We love the Berretts for their wonderful pictures!
Elder Kamara and I, both received our packages this week!  He was enjoying his package! thanks for sending it.  They don't receive packages very much so when they do, its a happy moment for them.  Even though I share all my packages with them, it still doesn't do justice like when they receive their own.  Elder Kamara baked the muffins that night and shared with me.  mmmmm.... Blue berry muffins taste amazing.  We even had the brownies last night after follow up calls, so we were enjoying ourselves! plus an apartment to the two of us!!!  We are living the life haha  Thanks for the packages though!
You mentioned about the birthday package.  Maybe you could send another pair or two of those long black nike socks.  I don't know if I still have some down stairs or not, but these ones got a hole in them now.  And then anything else that you think a missionary in a 3rd world country would enjoy, send!
I love you all and hope everythings going good!  Have a great week and be safe!

Love Elder Zaugg
